RIAA has officially given up and raised the white flag. Now the RIAA plans to charge a mandatory $5/month per user tax from the ISPs to allow downloadings of MP3. People have protested that if they did not download MP3s from the internet, they do not need to pay this tax. This loops back to how RIAA can detect who is downloading music and who is not.
Another factor would behttp://www.blogger.com/img/gl.link.gif that what will happen to iTunes Store? For $0.99 I can get a song. If I were to spend $5 each month, I get 5 songs from iTunes. If I pay the Tax, I get unlimited song for a month. Hows that sound? iTune's is going bust if this is implemented and we'll be in to see a big law suit from Apple to RIAA.
What do you guys think of RIAA's latest actions? Let me know in the comments!

EDIT: They actually made a song to protest against RIAA!
